This Week In High School Ministry

Don't forget that this Sunday, August 7 we go to the main service! You can join us at the second service! We sit by the sound booth!  

Dodgeball was awesome! Congrats the senior girls, otherwise known as The Thrifters! The highlight video is on its way!

This Week In High School Ministry

Join us for our homeless outreach in the city this Saturday, March 20 from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm. Meet at the church! Space is limited. Contact David for more info.

This Sunday, March 21 the High School Ministry meets from 11am - 12:15 pm at Charter Square.

Students and adults going to Mexico also have their first Mexico meeting this Sunday, March 21 from 1-3 pm at Charter Square. Don't forget that your Consent to Travel and Treatment forms are due, all money is due, and if you don't have a CPC Med Form on file, that is due to!

High School Life Groups meet at the various hubs on Wednesday, March 24 from 7-9 pm. If you are interested in joining a Life Group, contact Rob.

Next Friday, March 26 High School Students are invited to a high school worship night from 7-9:30 pm at Charter Square. Check out the Facebook invite!

This Week In High School Ministry and Important Life Group News!

The Service Project at the Serra/Millbrae Convalescent Home has been cancelled due to a flu outbreak at the Home.

The High School Ministry will meet this Sunday, January 31 at 11 am at Charter Square. We will continue our series in James.

We have our first Dominican Republic meeting this Sunday, January 31 at Charter Square from 1-3 pm. Your non-refundable $250 is also due!

This Wednesday, February 3 we will open another Life Group Hub in San Mateo. Don't forget that February 3 is a Life Group Fun night. Our Foster City Hub has outgrown the house we are using. Students who live in the San Mateo area will be meeting at our new hub at the Farbstein's starting February 10. Life Group leaders will be calling you this week with all the info.

The High School Ministry will meet this Sunday, December 20 at 11 am at Charter Square. Rob will be wrapping up Philippians. This is also the last Sunday to sign up for Hume Lake Winter Camp!

High School Life Groups will be on break until January 6. Make sure to wish your Life Group leader a Merry Christmas!

A Busy Week For High School Ministry

The High School Ministry meets this Sunday, December 13 at 11 am at Charter Square. Join us for our last study in Philippians.

If you are in a High School Life Group meet at Charter Square this Wednesday, December 16 from 7-9 pm for a Life Group Christmas Celebration!

Friday, December 18 join us for worship night! We'll have an extended time of singing, including a time for sharing what God has been doing in your lives over the past few months. Bring some cookies or a snack to share. Please RSVP on our Facebook Page.

No Life Groups, We Do Meet On Sunday and Don't Forget The Turkey Bowl!

High School Life Groups do NOT meet tonight, Wednesday, November 25 due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.

The High School Ministry WILL meet this Sunday, November 29 at 11 am at Charter.

Don't forget to join us Thanksgiving morning for our annual Turkey Bowl Football Game. Meet at Sea Cloud Park from 9 am - Noon.  This is for current high school students only!

Life House Meets on Sunday at Marlin Park

Life House meets this Sunday, August 19 from 5:30-8:30 pm!  We will be meeting at Marlin Park in Foster City!  Jess and David have some crazy stuff planned that you won't want to miss! Jess will also be sharing her testimony!  See ya there!

Life Groups for High School Students

Registration for Life Groups has begun! Life Groups will meet on Wednesday's from 7:00-9:00 pm at various locations. As we so often hear from students that have been in our ministry for a few years, small groups have the biggest impact on their spiritual journey. We want to have a ministry that looks like smaller communities within our larger High School Ministry community and has the focus of helping students learn how to study the bible and to experience small group community and dynamics. Our small groups (Life Groups) will meet in hubs with both guys and gals groups meeting in the home. There will be 2-4 small groups at one home. (i.e., San Carlos/Belmont, San Mateo and Foster City). These hubs will allow for the smaller community that so many of our students and leaders are more comfortable with, while allowing for a time of same gender small groups. The format of a typical evening will be: Hang out time with the 2-4 small groups/snack, announcements/worship, same gender small group time. The first Wednesday of the month, small groups will meet on their own for fun, study or whatever they want to do.
