Recreation Time!!

So as the week has progressed recreation time has seemed to increasingly picked up steam. Hume's recreation operates off of different team units competing for the prize of being the champion of the week. The different teams are represented by different names such as drooly bots, moto bots, and robo cow's. Where they came up with these names no one knows. Anyway our church has won different competitions through out the week, including the Volley ball tournament, of which we won last year as well, and today the Basketball tournament, of which we had the first, second and third place teams. All the games have been a blast and the competition has been intense, but the best part of the week has been the worship and preaching at the chapels. Our speaker, Daren Mc Waters, spoke last night on the gospel of Jesus and offered anyone to make a decision to follow Christ. Of course these moments can be exciting and last night several student from various churches committed their lives to Christ! Tonight Daren taught of the purpose of the Church and the importance of discipleship. I have spoken to many students who are deeply impacted by these chapel's and I know they can be some of the most important times here. And now for the explanations of the mohawks...well...it all started sometime late last night.
