I've asked several of our high school students to share a glimpse of their Mexico Missions Trip. You will be hearing about their stories about the trip throughout the week! First up Scott:
"On my missions trip to Mexico I learned a lot about myself and saw the happiness of others. Our group got very close and all had a great time but definitely reached out to others in the community. I was one of the few who went to the orphanage, "Casa de Gabrielle", 3 out of the 4 days which was awesome for me. I met boys who had diseases that I had not heard of but they were happier than I could ever imagine. The kids who were HIV positive brightened my day every time with their huge smiles and "everlasting" love. It was definitely hard to leave them on the last day but I will never forget them. The time we spent back at camp helped me in so many ways as well. This was my favorite church trip by far and think that most who went would agree."
