We started our journey of teaching through the whole Bible this mornig. This mornings lesson started with the beginnings in Genesis 1-2:3. Here is a video we showed.
A few points from this morning.
1. The Creation account is about our Creator
2. God the Creator turned chaos into order
3. We see the start of Gods Pattens
•God spoke a creative word
•The creative word brought visible results
•God was pleased with the results and pronounced them good
•God disignated what number that day of Creation was
Thought for the week: The same Spirit of God who hovered over the water, who came near chaos in order to fix it, hovers near us when our lives are out of control. He isn't afraid of chaos, darkness and messes. He cares and does something about it.

I see where you're going with the creation message and how it ties into the "Messy" theme. Yet this topic is so relevant and timely, thank you! I got a chance to check out my sons' science books the other day (they go to Bowditch) and they strongly push evolutionism. We have attempted to help them out by reconciling, to the best of our abilities, the issues of faith in creation and scientific evidence (which seems there is so much more today then when we were growing up!). I was most impressed by what they remembered most about your discussion on Sunday ... the quote that "It takes more faith to believe in evolution (Big Bang, why we're here) than it does to believe in God's Creation." Powerful teaching, keep up the great work you guys!!
