This Sunday, January 29, The Edge, Jr. High and High School Ministries all meet at their normal time and places.

Edge Parents! Don't forget to sign your daughter up for Edge Girls Day on February 12!

This Tuesday, January 31 its Pirates VS. Ninja Riot Nite for Jr. High Students. Meet at the church from 7-8:30 pm. Jr. High students can still sign up for Jr. High Broom Hockey!

High School Life Groups meet this Wednesday, February 1 at their various hubs! You can also watch the Foster City Hume Lake High light video!

 

This Week In Student Ministries

The Edge, Jr. High and High School Ministries meet this Sunday, January 22 at their normal times and places!

The Edge Girls day is coming up on Sunday, February 12!

Jr. High Life Groups meet at the church this Tuesday, January 24. We will continue our series on "Dangerous People of The Bible: Esther!" Jr. Highers can also sign up for our Broom Hockey night on Friday, February 10!

The High School Ministry had a great weekend at Hume Lake Winter Camp! God did some amazing things in the lives our students! We had five students commit their lives to Christ and many others grow deeper in their faith! You can check out the Hume Wrap Up Video that Hume produced here!

HIgh School Life Groups meet this Wednesday, January 25 and will be back at their hubs!!

This Week In Student Ministry

The Edge and Jr. High meet this Sunday, January 15 at their normal times and places. High School does not meet due to Hume Lake Winter Camp. Please keep our high school ministry in your prayers as 51 students and adults get away to grow in their faith and their relationships with one another.

Jr. High Life Groups play this Tuesday, January 17. Leaders will be connecting with students to let them know what they are doing. Don't forget to sign up for broom hockey too!

High School Life Groups will kick off the new year this Wednesday, January 18. They will be meeting at Charter at 7 pm. To keep up with the high school ministry while they are away at camp, go to the high school page and keep an eye on the twitter feed.

Student Ministries Kicks Off The New Year

Student Ministries is ready to kick off the new year this Sunday, January 8. The Edge, Jr. High and High School Minisstries will all meet this Sunday at their normal times and places! We've got a lot of exciting things for your students to take part in this year! We are also excited to welcome our new student ministries intern, Ryan Hodges! He starts is intern rotation in The Edge this Sunday. We are still looking for a host home for Ryan. So if you have a spare room and would like to host him for the year, contact Sandy.

Jr. High will go play broom hockey on Friday, February 10. Total cost is $15. Jr. High Life Groups will kick off the year this Tuesday, January 10. We will be taking a look at dangerous people of the Bible for the month of January.

The HIgh School Ministry will be heading to Hume Lake next Friday, January 13! We are so excited about what God has planned for our students during this weekend. We have chartered a bus this year for the trip! We forgot to put the packing list in with the Hume Lake Letter, so you can download it!!  Download Hume_2012_PrepLetter You can keep up with Scott and the gang at camp through our blog and twitter feed! No need to sign up for a twitter account. Our twitter feed is on the right hand side of the High School Blog!

HIgh School Life Groups will kick off the new year on Wednesday, January 18 at Charter Square.

The HIgh School Ministry will be going to Mexico and continue our partnership with Ventana Ministries. Our TENTATIVE dates are April 1-6. If your student is planning on going, please get started on the passport process. Students do need a passport to enter Mexico and re-enter the United States.

Student Ministry Is On Break

The Edge, Jr. High and High School Ministries are all on break! We encourage our students to go to church with their families over the next couple of Sunday's! We start back up on Sunday, January 8. 

We are very blessed to have two fabulous interns serving in our Student Ministry! Mckenna Mitchell joined us in late summer and Ryan Hodges will be join us in the new year!

We are looking for two host homes who would be willing to house an intern for one year. In the past, this has been a wonderful opportunity for families in our body as well as our interns. So if you have a spare room or an empty in-law unit and you would be interested in housing one of our fabulous interns or you would like some more information, please email Sandy or call her at the church!

We hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas celebrating the birth our Lord, Jesus Christ!

This Week In Student Ministries

The Edge, Jr. High and High School Ministries all meet this Sunday, December 18. This is our last Sunday of the calendar year!

The Edge will be serving cookies after the 9 am service this Sunday! Please drop your cookies off before the 9 am service in the kitchen.

Jr. High has Red and Green Riot Nite is this Tuesday, December 20 at the church from 7-8:30 pm. Students should wear all the Red and Green they own! This is a great night for Jr. Highers to bring a friend!

The High School Ministry went shopping for "The Gift" last Wednesday and it was amazing!! This Wednesday, December 21 high school students will meet at Charter at 7 pm and we will go and deliver the gifts! We will be back at Charter at 9 pm!

Join us of one of our many Christmas Eve Services! The Foster City Campus will hold services at 3, 5 and 7 pm. The North Campus will hold services at 4 and 6 pm. The Foster City Campus will have one Christmas Day service at 11 am. The Christmas Day service will have the same message as our Christmas Eve services. Hope to see you at one of our services!

 

This Week In Student Ministry

The Edge, Jr. High and High School Ministry all meet this Sunday, December 11 at their normal times and places.

The Edge has their Cookie Serve coming up! Make sure to sign up to bring cookies!

Jr. High has Cable Car Caroling on Sunday! This is a combined campus event and we are booked with a long waiting list. Students who have registered should meet in the Jr. High Room at 12:30! We will be serving students lunch! Dress in warm clothes and we are excited to see how God uses us in the streets of San Francisco! Our day will start off making lunches to pass out to the homeless, then we will see some of the sights and lights of the city, as well as make a stop at Ghiridelli for some ice cream! We will be back at the Foster City Campus parking lot at 7 pm! Don't forget to bring some money for ice cream!

High School is well on their way with "The Gift." What an incredible kick-off they had last week! Your high school student shouldn't miss this event!! "The Gift" will continue this Wednesday night starting at Charter Square at 7 pm!

The Edge is getting ready to serve cookies on Sunday, December 18 between services! This is a great opportunity to make some Chirstmas cookies with your Edgers!

Jr. High Life Groups meet this Tuesday, December 6 at the church! Sunday is the last day to sign up for Cable Car Caroling!

The High School Ministry kicks off "The Gift" this Wednesday, December 7! Intead of meeting in their hubs, they will meet at Charter from 7-8:30 pm!

The Edge Cookie Serve is Sunday, December 18. This is an opportunity for Edge kids to serve in the body by making cookies and handing them out between services!
