The Edge and High School Meet; Jr. High Does NOT Meet

The Edge or ministry to 5th and 6th grade students meets this Sunday, November 8 at 9 am in the Jr. High Room. Our High School Ministry also meets this Sunday at 11 am at Charter Square.  Jr. High, our ministry to 7th and 8th grade students does NOT meet this Sunday because we are at camp.  Have a great weekend.

Student Ministry Is On This Weekend

The Edge meets this Sunday, November 1 from 9 am-10:15 am in the Jr. High Room.  The Edge will also be going bowling on Sunday, November 22.  For more information click here.

Jr High meets this Sunday, November 1 from 11-12:15 pm in the Jr. High Room. We will be taking a look at Genesis 2 and the creation of man and woman.  Life Groups meet this Tuesday, November 3 from 7-8:30 pm at the church.  Students should bring their Life Group books and their Bibles. We had a great night at our pumpkin carving riot nite.  If you want to check out our pictures go to the jr. high website.  It is password protected, so if you need the password, email Sandy. The Jr. High Ministry will also be start the collection process this Sunday for Operation Christmas Child.  We are looking for students to help out at the beginning of the 9 am service and at the 11 am service.  Students should meet at the connection center of the main lobby 15 minutes before the service starts.

The high school ministry has a busy weekend!

High School Students if you would like to serve on Saturday, October 31,we are traveling to San Francisco to partner with Cityteam Ministries' Bags of Love project. We'll be preparing and distributing lunches and basic hygiene supplies to people who live in a very poor neighborhood. We travel in groups and visit them at their homes. Afterward we'll spend some time eating our own lunch in the city. We'll return by 2PM at Central Peninsula Church (not charter square).

Since its the first Sunday of the month don't forget that you go to the second service starting at 11 am.  We will be sitting in the back on the left hand side by the sound booth! Come and sit with us!

Have you got your dodgeball team together? You still have a couple of days! Join us on Monday, November 2 for a Peninsula wide Dodgeball Tournament.  Make sure to RSVP on our Facebook invite!

High School Ministry Prayer Team

Prayer is the most essential element in impacting lives for Christ. To that end, the High School Ministry is forming a prayer team that will pray regularly for weekly events and other ministry related items. This team will have NO MEETINGS. You will be emailed prayer requests weekly from Rob. If you feel led to be a part of this vital ministry, email Rob or see him at the connection center after the morning services this Sunday.

Student Ministry Is On This Weekend

The Edge, Jr. High and High School all meet this Sunday, October 25 at their normal times.  We hope to see you and your student on Sunday.

The Edge goes to The Corn Maize this Sunday, October 25.  We are full.  Please meet in the Jr. High Room at 12:30.  Bring $5 for lunch and $8 for the maze!

Jr. High: Tuesday, October 27 is Pumpkin Carving Riot Nite at the church from 7-8:30 pm.  7th and 8th graders should bring a pumpkin, carving tools and a friend!  We've also got a few more spaces for boys to go to Fall Frenzy!  Contact Sandy at the church if your son would like to go to camp.

High School: October 31 the high school students will join Bags of Love and deliver lunches in San Francisco. On Monday, November 2, the high school ministry will be partnering with Mid-Pen Young Life and several other churches in the area to hold a peninsula wide dodgeball tournament!  Encourage your student to attend and to invite a friend.

No Edge or Jr. High; High School Meets

This Sunday, October 18 The Edge and Jr. High do NOT meet. The Edge and Jr. High Staffs will be cheering on Darcie as she runs her half marathon on her 30th birthday! Please take your student to church with you. The High School Ministry will be meeting at 11 am at Charter Square.

Please note that this Sunday is the last Sunday to sign up for The Edge Corn Maize outing as well as Jr. High Fall Frenzy Camp.  We will leave an envelope on the Jr. High door for you to drop your registration off.

Student Ministry Is On This Weekend

The Edge, Jr. High and High School all meet at their normal times this Sunday, October 11. 

Edge: Make sure to sign your student up for The Corn Maize on October 25. Sign ups are due by next Sunday, October 18.

Jr. High: Life Groups are off and running.  Make sure to introduce yourself to your students leaders!  Fall Frenzy Camp is quickly approaching. Your student won't want to miss it! Next Sunday is the last Sunday to sign up!  The Jr. High worship band will be practicing this Sunday from 12:30-2:00 pm.

High School:  Remember that the High School Ministry meets from 11 am-12:15 pm at Charter Square. Student Leaders also meet this Sunday after the second service.

College Age: If you have a college age student going to school or working in the area, our Fall Bible Study kicks off tonight from 7:04-9 pm.  Email Darcie for more information.

Jr. High Life Groups Kick Off

Jr. High Life Groups kick off tonight, Tuesday, October 6 from 7-8:30 pm at the church.  It's going to be an exciting year as we work our way through Ephesians.  I'm really excited about our leaders joining us this year.  Your student will be getting phone calls from their leader each week.  So when Jessica, Rawan, Susan, Mike, Howie, Ken, Jones, John, Andy or I call, make sure to introduce yourself and let us know anything pertinent to your student! We are all very excited to see what God plans to do in the lives our students and leaders through Life Groups. If your student has yet to sign up for a Life Group email Sandy and we will get them in a group!

The Week In Student Ministry

The Edge, Jr. High and HIgh School Ministries do NOT meet this Sunday, October 4 due to the Outdoor service at Leo Ryan Park.  Join the CPC Millbrae and Foster City Campus' for our Outdoor Service on Sunday at 11 am.  Bring a picnic lunch for after the service where we will also listen to live music and support some people getting baptized! Hope to see you there.

Jr. High Life Groups kick-off this Tuesday, October 6 from 7-8:30 at the church!  It's going to be an awesome year for Jr. High Life Groups.

High School Life Groups will be meeting, but not at the hubs. Each Life Group will be out doing their own thing this Wednesday, October 7.  Ask your student what their Life Group will be doing. 

The College Ministry kicks off their Bible Study this Thursday, October 8 from 7-9 at Darcie's house.  For more information have your college student check out our Facebook Page, our website or email Darcie.

This Week In Student Ministry

The Edge and Jr. High meets this Sunday, September 27 at their normal times.  High School Ministry does NOT meet on Sunday, they are at Fall Escape!

If you have a 5th or 6th grader, your student won't want to miss The Corn Maize on October 25!  Students will run through a 6 acre corn maze trying to find their way back out!  Should be a fun afternoon!  Sign up with Darcie.

Jr. High does NOT meet this Tuesday, September 29.  We are preparing for Life Groups which kick off on Tuesday, October 6.  If your student has yet to sign up for a Jr. High Life Group, contact Sandy ASAP.

High School Life Groups WILL meet this Wednesday, September 30!

The Edge and Jr. High are still looking for leaders.  The edge needs several men and women for Sunday morning and Jr. HIgh needs 4 men and 4 women for Life Groups on Tuesday nights.  If you are interested, contact Sandy.
